The Brief.

I was asked to design a logo and build a website for the cutting-edge prosthetics company the Alternative Limb Project.

AltLimbPro push the boundaries of what it means to be human and challenge concepts of disability – they also had some killer imagery to play with so it was a really exciting project to work on.

**Note**

This website was built in 2015 and I am really excited to have been asked to redesign it so watch this space to see the new design!

Deliverables
  • Logo Design
  • Web Design
  • Web Implementation

Logo

It was important that the logo should be simple and straightforward. The use of differently weighted fonts suggests an amalgamation of different forms, united within the brackets.

Website

The Alternative Limb Project creates remarkable and visually stunning prosthetics so it was important that the website should emulate that, without detracting from the power of the images themselves.

Opening with a fullscreen image slider and an overlaid side menu, I designed a website that allowed the images to speak for themselves.
