Hi, I’m Nemone
[nɛməniː/ = rhymes with lemony]

An avid lover of cinema, I studied Film at university and discovered interactive design – a skill which got me my first job as Web Designer for Sleazenation, a cutting edge youth culture magazine, back in 2000 when the web was young and streaming video was a distant dream…

Fast forward 20 years and I’ve worked in a variety of positions: digital designer, internet radio producer, videographer, art director, animator, graphic designer, photographer, event co-ordinator…
My photographs have appeared in books, magazines and album covers. I directed Metronomy’s first ever music video. I went on tour with The Buzzcocks as a live camera operator, and I’ve appeared on stage as a voodoo warrior at The Bloomsbury Theatre.

I am a storyteller. My strength is in finding stories and working out how to tell them, whether that’s through a website, a photograph, a poster, or a short film.
Most recently I’ve been developing websites for small to medium businesses, from theatre companies to creators of bespoke prosthetic limbs. Being able to connect with my clients is key to what I do and most of my work comes via word-of-mouth.
I’m passionate about sustainability and live on a solar powered electric boat with my partner and two kids. You can find us somewhere on the Grand Union canal or, if the weather’s good, up the Thames.
